The goal of the Public Policy Committee is to advocate legislation leading to a more friendly business environment; monitor the activities of local government; distribute information to local government; influence policy at the local, state and federal level; act as an advocate of legislative issues and business interests; and educates the public and the members of the OACCT about governmental processes.
