
The Membership Committee is composed of individuals who are interested in helping the Chamber with recruitment of new members. It's a fun, energetic committee, composed of mostly sales professionals and business owners who utilize this opportunity to generate additional sales leads, all while helping the Chamber.
The committee meets in the Lower Level of OACCT on the second Tuesday of the month at 10 AM for an hour of prospect visits The amount of work that this committee entails is minimal (approximately 1 hour a month, unless you have more time to give).

The Schapiro Study
A national study by The Schapiro Group, an Atlanta-based market research firm, reveals a number of important findings about how consumers and business owners perceive the local Chamber of Commerce and the businesses that are their members.
This study, commissioned by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives with support from the Small Business Network, Inc., is designed to determine the real value to companies in terms of consumer outcomes of joining and being active in their local Chamber of Commerce.
Do consumers really support businesses because they are Chamber members? Yes! The results of the study are clear: Positive perception increases among consumers and business owners when a business is identified as a member of the Chamber of Commerce.
