The mission of Leadership Owatonna is to provide emerging and experienced leaders the opportunity to enhance their personal, professional and community leadership skills and effectiveness. Over 140 individuals who have successfully completed the program to date.

Chosen participants spend one day a month from September to June exploring

topics such as: Economic Development Opportunity, Arts, Culture, Health Care, Education, Criminal Justice, Diversity, Agriculture, Government & personal leadership style.

The goal of the Leadership Owatonna Steering Committee is after completion of the nine month program, the class will then serve as the Steering Committee for the next incoming class.  This is now their opportunity to plan the days or make any changes in speakers, tours, etc. that they would like to enhance.
